ROADMAP
A website can launch overnight. A chain should not. Each phase below produces something users and developers can independently test before the next one begins.
Choose the Orbit configuration, native gas asset, chain ID, parent contracts, governance, key layout, and monitoring model. Publish the public network surface without fake live claims.
Run Nitro sequencer, validator, batch poster, parent-chain contracts, RPC gateway, database backups, and internal explorer. Exercise deposits, withdrawals, forced inclusion, restarts, and recovery.
Open RPC, WebSocket, explorer, faucet, bridge, documentation, and reproducible deployment manifests. Invite contracts and applications while assets remain valueless.
Review contracts and configuration, separate keys, add redundant nodes, establish alerting, publish incident procedures, test resource limits, and resolve testnet findings.
Deploy final parent contracts and genesis configuration, publish every address and hash, fund operational accounts, activate the canonical bridge, and open permissionless deployment.
Add independent validators and infrastructure providers, expand data availability options where appropriate, move administrative control behind transparent governance, and minimize operator discretion.
